One form for one thing or many — but the noun changes
عبارت es gibt هرگز تغییر نمیکند، چه یک اتاق باشد چه ده تا، پس از there is و there are انگلیسی آسانتر است.
Es gibt never changes, whether one room or ten, so it is easier than English there is and there are. But the noun after it does change, because es gibt takes the accusative: ein Balkon becomes einen Balkon, and with the negation from lesson 25, kein Garten becomes keinen Garten. Only masculine nouns actually show this — feminine, neuter and plural look the same in the accusative as in the nominative, so the whole rule really means remembering to add -en to ein and kein in front of a masculine noun.
