Three sentences to know before you need them
The imperative from lesson 46 is what you need here, unchanged: verb first, Sie after it. Helfen Sie mir uses the dative mir, because helfen is one of the verbs that always takes the dative rather than the accusative — a small irregularity worth knowing. Rufen Sie einen Arzt uses the accusative as usual. But the real lesson is not grammar: memorise Hilfe, Helfen Sie mir and Rufen Sie einen Arzt tonight, as fixed blocks, so they come out without any thinking at all. Emergency numbers: 112 across Europe for ambulance and fire, 110 for police in Germany.
