Imperatives and sequencing words
برای دستور دادن از فعل امری استفاده کن: شکل سادهٔ فعل بدون فاعل («Cut the onion»، «Add salt»). برای ترتیب مرحله‌ها از کلمات ترتیب استفاده کن: «First»، «Then»، «Next» و «Finally». این‌ها معمولاً اول جمله می‌آیند: «First, wash it. Then, cook it. Finally, serve it.»
To give instructions, use the imperative: the base verb with no subject ("Cut the onion", "Add salt"). To order the steps, use sequencing words: "First", "Then", "Next", and "Finally". They usually start the sentence: "First, wash it. Then, cook it. Finally, serve it."
