Passive voice (past simple)
وقتی خودِ کار مهم‌تر از انجام‌دهنده است از مجهول استفاده کن: «was/were + اسم مفعول». «They filmed it in Spain» (معلوم) → «It was filmed in Spain» (مجهول). «by + شخص» را فقط وقتی بیاور که بخواهی بگویی چه کسی انجامش داده: «It was directed by Ali.»
Use the passive when the action is more important than who did it: "was/were + past participle". "They filmed it in Spain" (active) → "It was filmed in Spain" (passive). Add "by + person" only if you want to say who did it: "It was directed by Ali."
