used to & present perfect for change
از «used to + شکل سادهٔ فعل» برای حالت‌ها یا عادت‌های گذشته که دیگر درست نیستند استفاده کن: «There used to be a field here.» از حال کامل (have/has + اسم مفعول) برای تغییرهایی که گذشته را به حالا وصل می‌کنند: «The town has grown a lot.» از «since» با نقطهٔ شروع و از «for» با مدت‌زمان استفاده کن.
Use "used to + base verb" for past states or habits that are no longer true: "There used to be a field here." Use the present perfect (have/has + past participle) for changes that connect the past to now: "The town has grown a lot." Use "since" with a starting point and "for" with a length of time.
