Prefixes change meaning
پیشوند در ابتدای کلمه می‌آید و معنای آن را تغییر می‌دهد. «un-» و «dis-» معنای مخالف می‌سازند (happy → unhappy، agree → disagree). «re-» یعنی «دوباره» (write → rewrite). «mis-» یعنی «به‌اشتباه» (understand → misunderstand). «over-» یعنی «بیش‌ازحد» (cook → overcook) و «under-» یعنی «کمتر از حد» (paid → underpaid).
A prefix goes at the start of a word and changes its meaning. "un-" and "dis-" make the opposite (happy → unhappy, agree → disagree). "re-" means "again" (write → rewrite). "mis-" means "wrongly" (understand → misunderstand). "over-" means "too much" (cook → overcook) and "under-" means "too little" (paid → underpaid).
