What these ten lessons share

هر ساختاری در این بلوک یک کار می‌کند: بین تو و بیانِ صافِ واقعیت فاصله می‌اندازد. شرط‌های ترکیبی و آرزوها تو را در دنیایی می‌گذارند که رخ نداد. مجهول کننده را حذف می‌کند. ساختِ سببی نشان می‌دهد ترتیبِ کاری را داده‌ای نه اینکه خودت انجامش داده باشی. افعالِ گزارش حرفِ دیگری را با فاصله نقل می‌کنند و به آن رنگِ داوریِ تو را می‌زنند. افعالِ وجهیِ استنتاج، واقعیت را به احتمال تبدیل می‌کنند. آیندهٔ استمراری و کامل، حال را از نقطه‌ای در آینده می‌بینند. جهشِ واقعی از B1 به B2 همین است: نه واژهٔ بیشتر، بلکه توانِ گفتنِ چیزی بدون گفتنِ صافِ آن — تعدیل کردن، تصور کردن، نسبت دادن و استنتاج کردن.

Every structure in this block does the same job: it puts DISTANCE between you and a plain statement of fact. Mixed conditionals and wishes place you in a world that did not happen. The passive removes the doer. The causative shows you arranged something rather than doing it. Reporting verbs put somebody else's words at arm's length and colour them with your judgement. Modals of deduction turn a fact into a probability. Future continuous and future perfect view the present from a future vantage point. That is the real jump from B1 to B2: not more vocabulary, but the ability to say something without saying it flatly — to hedge, imagine, attribute and infer.
