The prepositions are easy; what follows them is not
این حرف‌های اضافه هرگز شکل عوض نمی‌کنند و همین آن‌ها را به آسان‌ترین چیز این دوره تبدیل می‌کند: sur، sous، dans، devant، derrière، entre. نکتهٔ گیرافتادن، چیزی است که بعدشان می‌آید — فرانسه حرف تعریف را نگه می‌دارد جایی که انگلیسی دورش می‌اندازد. «روی میز» می‌شود sur LA table و «در تخت» می‌شود dans LE lit. انداختن حرف تعریف رایج‌ترین خطای مبتدی‌ها در همین‌جاست. فقط à و de با le و les ادغام می‌شوند، همان‌طور که در درس ۲۲ یاد گرفتی؛ sur و dans با هیچ چیز ادغام نمی‌شوند.
These prepositions never change shape, which makes them the easiest thing in this course: sur, sous, dans, devant, derrière, entre. The catch is what comes next — French keeps the article where English throws it away. On the table is sur LA table, in bed is dans LE lit. Leaving the article out is the single most common beginner error here. Only à and de fuse with le and les, as you learned in lesson 22; sur and dans never fuse with anything.
