Four blocks to memorise tonight
These use the formal imperative from lesson 46: chiamare, an -are verb, gives chiami; aiutare gives aiuti. Notice that the pronoun mi sits in FRONT of the formal imperative — mi aiuti — whereas with the informal tu form it attaches behind, aiutami. But the real lesson is not grammar: learn Aiuto, Mi aiuti, Chiami un medico and Sto male as fixed blocks tonight so they come out with no thinking at all. Numbers: 112 works across Europe, and in Italy 118 is the ambulance, 113 the police and 115 the fire brigade.
